“Gospel Singer Lied, Doesn’t Even Know My Daughter’s Name; She Was Planning Wedding To Pharmacist Before Death” – Mother Of Slain Corper

A grieving mother, Ojomachenwu Adaidu, has spoken out about the brutal murder of her 24-year-old daughter, Salome Eleojo Adaidu, a youth corps member who was allegedly killed by a gospel singer , Timileyin Ajayi, in Abuja.

In an emotional interview released by Punch, Mrs. Adaidu described her daughter as a hardworking and responsible young woman who had big plans for her future.

“Salome was a wonderful child, hardworking and responsible. Every morning, before I even woke up, she would sweep and tidy the house,” she said.

Salome had confided in her mother about her plans to become a doctor after completing her youth service

According to her, she was also in a relationship with a pharmacist, and the family had already begun making plans for their wedding.

“That’s a lie. Salome was not his girlfriend. He didn’t even know her name. You can see in the video that the killer has a beard. My children don’t like men who keep beards, and Salome had no relationship with him.

“She already had someone she was dating; a pharmacist. I told her we would do the necessary wedding introduction after her service year,” she said

The family is now seeking justice for Salome’s murder, with Mrs. Adaidu calling for a thorough investigation into the case.

“I want the police to thoroughly investigate this case and make him confess what happened. He should face justice for what he did,” she added.
