In a report by Daily Post, Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, cautioned President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday about the U.S. government’s potential to meddle in Nigerian politics due to his 2027 bid for a second term.
The prophet said in a statement signed by his media assistant, Osho Oluwatosin, that Tinubu’s biggest opponent in 2027 will be the United States government and that failing to be aware of their involvement would cost him dearly.
The prophet revealed that the US government intends to snatch away his ambition for a second term for reasons they are aware of, and Tinubu should not be too casual about it.
In Primate Ayodele’s words, “President Tinubu needs to be very careful and watch his back because the American government is trying to gang up against his second-term ambition. From what I am seeing, the US government would be Tinubu’s major opposition in 2027.
“If he likes, he can joke with this warning, but he is the one who has everything to lose. I am only delivering what I have seen. He needs to be very careful about external involvements in Nigerian politics; they are seriously planning against him.”
Primate Ayodele continued by pleading with President Tinubu to focus more on foreign opposition than Nigerian opposition parties because he has not yet seen any candidate who is serious about winning the 2027 election.
He said that Nigerian opposition candidates will not be able to unseat Tinubu in 2027 because they consistently prioritize their own interests over the nation.
