The executive Governor of Benue State and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia has reacted after he attended a special Iftar hosted by President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa on Monday.
Benue State Governor, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia stated on his verified Facebook page on Tuesday; “Yesterday, I had the honour of attending a special Iftar hosted by President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, where state governors, members of the Federal Executive Council, service chiefs, and heads of key agencies gathered together to break the Ramadan fast.”
He added; “In his address, President Tinubu encouraged all of us to continue working towards the Nigeria that every citizen dreams of; one of progress, peace, and prosperity.”
He stated further; “I am grateful for the opportunity to join hands with fellow leaders as we strive to create lasting change for our people.”
He noted; “The President also commended the collective efforts of both the federal and state governments in tackling the issue of food inflation. The recent reduction in food prices is a demonstration to what we can achieve when we work together with a common goal.”
He said; “As we reflect during this blessed month, let us remain committed to service, unity, and the betterment of our dear nation.”
