The corpse of the late First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Patience Umo Eno, has arrived at the Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo, from the United Kingdom.
The arrival of the corpse marks a significant step towards the final burial rites of the late First Lady, which is scheduled to take place this Friday, November 29, 2024.
The Akwa Ibom State Government had earlier declared Friday, November 29, 2024, a Work-Free Day in honor of the late First Lady, to enable Akwaibomites and other residents to pay their last respects.
The late Pastor Patience Umo Eno was a devoted wife, mother, and philanthropist, who touched the lives of many during her lifetime. Her demise was met with widespread condolences from various dignitaries, including the President of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other prominent figures.
