A Nigerian man who went viral a few days ago after publicly opening up about his HIV status on BBNaija Doyin’s podcast, has shared his recent plight.
The man who appeared on Doyin’s Corner podcast had revealed that he lives with HIV and has slept with about 1000 women; a disclosure that tore social media apart a few weeks back.
However, in a recent development, a video surfaced online showing the man at a barbershop. He was captured having a conversation with the barber who declined cutting his hair after realizing that he is HIV positive.
He questioned the barber’s choice demanding to know why but he remained adamant stating that he couldn’t proceed with the hair cut.
After a few moments of arguments and exchanges, the man was forced to exit the shop. Lamenting, he avowed that he was facing the consequences of telling the truth about his health status.
He noted that opening up about his HIV status has now backfired, causing him difficulties in his daily life.
