Reactions as President Tinubu says he’s not worried about the outcome of the next election

Sunday Dare, Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Public Communications, provided this clarification in a statement, highlighting that the president will ultimately be evaluated on his ability to foster economic development by the end of his term.

He emphasized that he is not concerned about the upcoming election, but rather focused on achieving shared prosperity for Nigerians. His primary worry is the effective implementation of his reforms and their potential impact on the country’s economy in the long run.

He also highlighted several positive economic indicators, including increased foreign reserves, decreased inflation, and a growing trade surplus. They also noted improvements in exports and investments, as well as a decline in prices.

According to him, President Tinubu is committed to his economic reforms and is prioritizing the well-being of Nigerians over political considerations. His goal is to make a positive impact on the lives of Nigerians and turn the economy around by the end of his first term.
