Abednego Don Evarada, a technical adviser on public affairs to Governor Douye Diri, has articulated his opposition to the solidarity protest being organized in Bayelsa in favor of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike. In an exclusive interview with AIT, Evarada stated that the mood in Yenagoa would undergo a significant transformation on the day of the event.
He stated that the sky would obscure, the waters would become tumultuous, and the waves would intensify. He stated that the Ijaw people and their forefathers oppose the rally occurring.
Evarada stated, “An ominous event is imminent in our territory.” We are stating that; it is not a caution. On that day, the clouds over Yenagoa will darken, the waters will grow tumultuous, and the waves will intensify.
