Abednego Don Evarada, the technical adviser on public affairs to the Bayelsa State governor, has shared why he is strongly opposed to the planned rally in support of Nyesom Wike in Bayelsa. He emphasized that key Ijaw leaders, including the Bayelsa governor and the president of the Ijaw National Congress (INC), had spoken against it.
Speaking in an interview with AIT, Evarada said “the grave would reject late Pa Edwin Clark” if such an event were to take place. He also said that “the spirits of past Ijaw leaders, including Isaac Adaka Boro, are not at peace” because something terrible is about to happen in Ijaw land
In Evarada’s words: “The grave is saying it is going to reject our leader Pa Edwin Clark if this rally holds, that the ground will reject him. Let me tell you, our forefathers including Isaac Adaka Boro, their corpse are turning in the grave because something evil is about to happen in our land”
